For the 2011-2012 school year, the Goodlark Foundation awarded 62 scholarships totaling over $85,000 to area residents pursuing four-year college degrees, two-year associate degrees, certificates from area technical schools, or graduate degrees. The recipients of our scholarships were both recent high school graduates and older students who are returning to school. Scholarship amounts ranged from $500 to $2,000 and were based on school costs not being met by other sources. The student's FAFSA Expected Family Contribution was taken into account.

Applications for the 2012-2013 school year are now available.  To qualify for a scholarship, you must be a resident of Dickson, Hickman or Humphreys Counties in Tennessee and must be planning to attend school fulltime. Graduating high school seniors should obtain an application from, and return the application to, their high school counselors by the deadline established by the school.  Interviews with these candidates will be scheduled at area high schools. Other applicants (including homeschool students) may access the printable version of the application below.*  Those completed applications should be mailed directly to the Goodlark Foundation offices along with the necessary supporting documentation by the deadline of March 31, 2012.
