Jim Brent Wilkerson Memorial Scholarship

In 1982, 19 year old Eagle Scout Jim Brent Wilkerson of Centerville lost his life while rescuing a drowning woman from Hellroaring Creek in Yellowstone National Park. To honor his heroism and sacrifice, the Goodlark Foundation is pleased to offer a scholarship in his name. Any currently active Scouts who meet the following criteria are welcome to apply:

  • Currently active in Scouts BSA
  • Achieved the rank of Eagle, or currently working on Eagle project, OR has special circumstances of financial need
  • Accepted in an accredited school, college, or university
